Jehovah-Tsebaoth:
The Lord Of Hosts

Theos ... a serenade

Guiding light
- or simply a campfire -

A few months ago, this message about listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit was burning in my soul. It was becoming progressively apparent that church decisions are coloured or intermixed with some Bible truth and worldly-wise methods in the delivery of service.

In similar fashion, the gifts of the Spirit are nothing more than an occasional idea according to todays' theology. A prayerful standard or traditionalism of the early church has been compromised over the centuries and the prayer meeting is nominal. The church has plugged-in to a safer religious atmosphere and minimized the authority of the gospel. The message today is "fellowship and worship songs" with a passing mention about prayer/fasting. The gospel message needs more traction, perseverance and decisive listeners of the Holy Spirit. Are you ready to go the distance with Jesus?

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5).

Society today has several culturally diverse ways of expression and have noticed the harmony and seeds of good will throughout the community and festivals of thanks giving. The unique makeup of these common cause associations, methodologies, co-operative societies, distinct religious institutions and physical fitness programs do support togetherness, self-fulfillment and could be uplifting to an extent and yet, doesn't match the heavenly joy of God's love for us. The world is unable to reproduce this experience since it's beyond the capacity of human nature.

"Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light on my path."

God has already revealed His awesome power which is seen every morning at sunrise and by the new and improved pictures that astronomy is revealing of the celestial creation.

And by His grace, our planet has witnessed some outstanding events of His supernatural intervention on reminding us of His sovereign commitment in saving a remnant of people for eternity.
