The Lord Is Our Righteousness

Theos ... a serenade

The Scout

The title of this memorandum is "The Scout" in advance of a Spiritual quickening. The anticipation for revival is soon to be answered as the sound of a heavenly muster and mobilization that "ready or not" is coming our way. I don't need to write a lengthy article and would encourage everyone to wait in reverence of God's holy presence and blessed assurance. The invitation is open, uplifting and enables spiritual dynamics that accelerate His help along the way. I say this as more-and-more people are trusting on technology to expand their horizon and have little need for God's blessings. To talk openly about "the oil of gladness" that comes from a heavenly worship, not a substitute worship as played on a musical CD, digital device or vinyl record is unspoken these days. The expression should be from a person's heart and not a groove about the musical beat. Surely the focus of a person's praise and worship should be "what pleases" Abba God. The addition of musical instruments is mentioned only a few times in the scriptures and are best suited for evangelism and/or special occasions.

And then again, the sound of a heavenly muster is "gloriously" making preparation and the extent or duration of revival may be linked to our prayer life. Shall a gospel enlightenment/revival be a heavy "lattter" rain of God's salvation, a smaller "quick" outpouring or a heavenly calling "the rapture" of His people. I once wrote this statement: This self-seeking (me-generation) culture does sadden God's heart. The invitation to enter eternity before the tribulation hour shall be a missed opportunity for many people. To use a parable: I may have an invitation to a banquet and left behind at departure time. Would quote a popular "once saved..." slogan and show you the ticket (certificate of baptism) and still miss the airplane (rapture) by not being present at the airport (fellowship of the Spirit). Our communion with God according to His plumb-line is the true test of fellowship and discipleship. The promise of God's salvation at the end of our earthly days is assured and the rapture is an entirely different event and therefore, may not be linked to the same association of faith.

The ability to enter into Abba God's presence and anointing is not reserved for special or gifted people. This is an open invitation and everyone is encouraged to participate in this splendid experience. The act of waiting in the heart or midst of God's presence is most often unrehearsed as the Spirit helps our prayer/worship during this heavenly get-together. It truly is amazing that people would skip this quality time and substitute it by trusting solely on the Bible as the only source of enlightenment. The essence, inherent nature or quiddity of God is turned on auto-pilot and thereby, His promises are quoted as a paint-by-number scripture reading without the agape fellowship. The teaching model and programs of this world have stripped away the spiritual life. The true source of our inspiration should be Yeshua, the Christ. The ideal way is to walk according to the Spirit of faith as Sons and Daughters: The King's kids of royal assent.

"Ye rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of glory."

Let Go
Let God

As children bring their broken toys, with tears for us to mend, I brought my broken dreams to God, because He is my friend.

But then instead of leaving Him in peace to work alone, I hung around and tried to help, with ways that were my own.

At last, I snatched them back again and cried,

"How can You
be so slow?"

"My child,"
He said,
"what could I do?
You never let go."
